We aim to provide the highest quality classes for all our customers and are committed to the safety of all persons who attend our sessions.
Participating in our classes, play sessions and workshops is entirely at your own risk without any proven negligence, breach of duty of care or lack of due diligence by The Bridge House Stourbridge Ltd.
Bookings:
TOTS TALES classes: These classes are a rolling program. Block bookings are made for fixed terms i.e. the whole half term. You can join the class at any point in the half term and will only be charged pro-rata for the number of sessions left in that half term.
Courses: (Baby Massage, Baby Yoga, Baby Signing, Fun with Food, Mindfulness for Pre-schoolers) These courses have a start and end date and require booking for a complete course.
PAYG/one off events: Stay and Play, Sensory play room sessions / workshops / events: These are bookings made for a specific date and time and cannot be transferred unless agreed by The Bridge House Management (see below for more information on this policy).
Parties / Baby Showers: Private-hire parties and Baby Showers require a deposit on booking and are non-refundable.
Payment:
Is through our online booking system. You will receive an automated reply confirming your purchase. Walk in are welcome subject to spaces available and payment is taken at the till in Full of Beans Café.
Cancellations / Refunds:
A block, course, workshop or event may be cancelled provided you inform The Bridge House Management at least 7 days of the course commencing. Please note there may be an administration charge of up to one class for any changes made. You may offer your place to a friend as a gift provided you inform The Bridge House Management.
Our PAYG play sessions – ‘STAY & PLAY’ & ‘SENSORY ROOM PLAY’ sessions are non refundable. Sessions are transferable with a minimum of 72 hours notice, providing the rearranged session is taken within 14 days.
Holidays and sickness policy:
We do not roll over unused classes, play sessions, courses & workshops. If you are unable to attend your booked session and we have availability in other classes within that calendar week, we will move your session. i.e – If you know of a date due to holiday or other appointment then we will try to accommodate your booking in another class of the same week. We DO NOT carry missed sessions over to the following week. Regrettably, we cannot offer refunds for unused sessions. You may offer your place to a friend if you know you are unable to attend. You would need to inform The Bridge House Management in this instance.
Twins & Sibling discount:
We offer 50% discount on the second child. Simply select ‘Sibling discount‘ in offers when booking. This applies to block bookings and courses only (not including ‘FUN WITH FOOD’ or ‘MINDFULNESS FOR PRESCHOOLERS’).

Supervision and withdrawal of service:
All children must be supervised at all times and not left unattended. The class leaders, play assistants or café baristas cannot be responsible for a child at any time. Regrettably as our classes are designed for children from the age of birth to school age, older siblings cannot attend unless specifically agreed by The Bridge House Management. Should a child, carer or associated visitor behave in a way that a member of staff feels is unreasonable then management reserve the right to withdraw the provision of classes or services to the customer.
Re-enrolment:
You will be reminded at the end of term that rebooking is required in all Tots Tales classes. Please note that places remain on a first come first served basis.
Cancellation of classes policy:
We will endeavour to run classes during bad weather e.g. snowy conditions. However should we need to cancel due to safety concerns, parents will be notified/contacted (please check your emails, and make sure your phone number is kept up to date on our register).
Illness:
Parents are asked to keep their children at home if they have a serious infection and to inform the setting as to the nature of the infection so that other parents can be alerted. Please keep your child at home if he/she:
- Has a fever or has had one in the previous 24 hours
- Has had an upset stomach or diarrhoea in the previous 48 hours
- Has heavy nasal discharge
- Has discharging eyes
- Symptoms of Covid
Has symptoms of a possible communicable diseases such as:
- Measles
- Chicken pox
- German measles
- Whooping cough
- Impetigo
- Scarlett fever
- Hand, foot and mouth disease
- Norovirus
Data Protection:
The information on this form contains personal data. We will record, process and keep your personal information secure in accordance with GDPR. Information will not be passed onto a third party unless you have opted in during the booking process.
Videos, photographs and confidentiality:
We love you taking pictures or videos of your children during the session provided it doesn’t interfere with the class. In addition please always be sensitive of taking pictures of others without their permission. If you are asked to stop, please do respect the rights of others. In addition, if the class leader feels that the amount of video is excessive, not just short clips, then you may be asked to stop. Please remember that much of the content of the class is under copyright and while we are very happy for you to practice at home, these are not to be incorporated into another public activity without our permission.
Protection of property:
Please note that your property left in pushchairs or bags is your responsibility and we cannot take any responsibility for the safeguarding of these items.
Health & Safety and Hygiene Policies:
We follow rigorous internal checks of the venue and its own equipment to ensure that they are clean and safe. Daily risk assessments are conducted.
We ask all parents and carers to remove their shoes and wear socks while in class, in order to reduce the chance of transmission of microorganisms.
